The Nose Masks Story

I made nose masks for fun when I was a boy. When my children were young I made nose masks for them. At some point it occurred to me I had a book’s worth of them. Peter Workman thought so too and published Nose Masks Volumes One and Two in 1978. Twenty years later, Workman published Return of the Nose Masks, my first and last sequel to this rather silly idea. The book is still in print.

In the introduction to Return of the Nose Masks, I wrote “The first Nose Mask was invented shortly after the appearance of the first nose.” I imagine this must be true. In any case, no one has contradicted me yet.
